Hesjastauren består i hovedsak av eit eit nabolag på Bømlo som har funnet ut at frisbeegolf er gøyalt!

Me (dei aller fleste av oss) begynte å spela våren 2007.


Frisbeegolf viste seg å væra aktiviteten som falt i smak hos alle og ein. Dette er ein sport som set veldig lite krav til fysisk form og styrke (iallefall på vårt nivå). Derfor spelar både store og små med samme iver, engasjement og ikkje minst konkurranseinstinkt!

Enkelt forklart er frisbeegolf veldig likt vanlig golf. Du har et visst antall "hull" (korger, eller staurer) plassert rundt på ein bane. Så gjeld det då å bruke minst kast på å treffe samtlige hull. Dette skulle jo ikkje by på de store problem, tenker ein gjerne. Men, etter å ha prøvd seg, finn ein fort ut at det var ikkje berre berre heller.

Det viste seg at ditta skulle bli litt meir enn berre ein sport. Banen har blitt eit sosialt samlingspunkt. I ein gammal møkaskut, er det no rigget til med langbord, og stoler. Møkaskuten er då omdøpt til Olafshålo (etter nye landlord Olaf). I Olafshålo er det då muligheter for ei brun ei mellom omgangane (eller cola til dei yngste).
